Got a letter in the mail stating that my requested license plate "BOLLIX" may be considered offensive.

Thought I was away with it, as I'd been approved at the DMV and had paid.

Taking suggestions - maximum 8 Letters.

Got ripping last weekend! First time getting my hands dirty in over 6months, it was great! Got my suspension all swapped over. Also picked up an Audi R8 Flat Bottom Wheel, which I might sell on and pick up a 2016 TTRS Wheel instead.

This weekend I'll throw some sort of suspension into the yellow one to keep it mobile, then start ripping into it. Can't wait to have that power again.

    Some recent updates:
    R8 Wheel
    New 18x9.5 wheels
    Boost Gauge

Coming next - de-cat this weekend (if my rear O2 sensors have been coded out, which I think they have).

Obligatory foglights on in 25c weather shot:

    The current situation:

Was all ready to swap the bigger turbos over to the black car, only to find out that one of them had some shaft play. Stopped dead for a while now rather than take a chance. Ordered up 2 new CHRAs for them.

    Black car got a cleaning:

Ohhhhh America, how you continually try to screw me.

Got caught rotten a few months ago when driving on a 2-3 mile long bridge in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the night. Despite my old age, and the fact that I generally NEVER speed, I made the poor decision to wind the car through the gears. A biblical speeding ticket was my reward.

The officer was nice enough to write a number down that meant I got to drive home, and not walk, but this being America meant that things were not as simple as paying a fine and moving on.

No no, seemingly the worst thing you can do is say "yeah, I messed up, I'm Sorry". You HAVE to go to court, and you dare not plead guilty. All told, it was an expensive result, but my lawyer managed to argue it down to only 69mph.

Ever since I've been on cruise control everywhere while my wallet recovers. Then, while driving the same stretch of road coming back from the airport, I spotted something in the dark but couldn't avoid it in time.

Someone had dropped a ball hitch/tow bar in the middle of the road, which took out the exhaust system. How it even fit under the front pumper without taking out the sump, I have no idea.

So that is a $2,000 APR exhaust turned into a mangled mess. The car has been parked since while I decide if it is worth all the pain.

Getting a strong urge to try an e36 next, but a decent m3 is up around $10-15k, which isn't worth it considering they complete lack of a real M engine.

I know a lad in Calgary that always got me good pricing on anything I wanted. Couldn't be beaten to be honest. If you look on Kijiji at GTR Auto you'll be able to contact him.

Nathaniel is his name, goes by Natty. info@gtrauto.ca

Jesus man that is sickening about the Imola. An Imola B5 was up near the top of my all-time want cars. Your new one is pretty slick though. I'm kinda surprised (and impressed) you were so quick to get another B5. After 3 years in a B5 I'm ready to try something new.

Yeah, it was sickening having the yellow one taken. Like you, an Imola b5 s4 was on my bucket list since Gran Turismo.

The yellow one was a rocket. Here it is in a tunnel, making the tired cry in 3rd.

Few more things done to the black one this weekend:

RS4 clocks opened up and replaced with MPH gauges. Recoded for the US and mileage matched.

I've been driving a Salsa Pearl 1.8tqs B5 for the last 4 years, picked up my first e30 today (320 touring )

B5's make great dailies. Mine never gave me any bother. No where near as cool as your ones though.

edit- Those RS4 clocks are awesome! I never knew they were like that.

    A few changes lately!

Retrimmed my wheel in suede + added piano black trim and grey accents:

Went for far beefier tires. Spent a lot of time measuring before pulling the trigger and getting lucky. I love the beefy look!

    Put some things in:

    LWFW

    B7 RS4 Pressure Plate & Clutch

One of the K04s having been split (both got new CHRAs)

Such a dry engine, there are genuinely no leaks

    K04s fitted

    Going back in:

Bac running now, but waiting on a bigger fuel pump as it is leaning out on boost.

I'll hopefully be fully tuned in the next few weeks.
I'll have to upload a few launch control & anti-lag videos!

It should be somewhere between quick ad very quick hopefully.
