    Default My IS

Hi guys, it's about time I put a photo of my car up here.

And no, the oil patch is not from mine.

    Thanks

I bought it off a nice chap who lives not far from the Black Horse Inn in Inchicore October last year. I believe he was/is a member.

Hey hey! That's my old car!

I owned it before I left for Canada in 2010.
Great car! I'll dig up photos.

I put a lot into it

I will get more photos, but it's a tribute to the hard work and care of it's previous owners, as the only thing I have done to it is fix the clutch and install coil on plug.

    It's a keeper alright.

    13 button OBC
    Map reader Mirror
    Rear headrests
    3.91 LSD
    E36 quick rack
    Quick shift (Z3 I think)
Viper 2 chipped ECU and a spare original

I think the wheels are Borbet B style.

I'm going to take it off the road for a couple of months as it needs a few small jobs done.

    Thumbs up

What a lovely car. Keep it standard like that, it's not going to depreciate anytime.

Very nice IS very similar to mine is it sterling silver?
I have mostly all the same extras too
Does the chipped ECU make much of a difference? I'd like to get a bit more poke if it's worth it

Also had/has koni adjustable shocks that are fantastic.
Had an immaculate interior then too.

I sold that AND my m3 to a lad in Dublin in 2010 and 2012 respectively.

Thanks guys, it's that good that I no longer have any interest in buying any other car. I had been thining about an E28 M535i or an E24 635.
In my opinion, the chip gives slightly better acceleration while improving power in lower revs.

As for photos, the weather has been terrible.
