    Lovely car this
I bought it of a mate and cleared it .It was on rotten 17" multi spokes at the time I'll see if i can dig up a before picture
I picked up the borbets and got spacers machined, fitted an is lip and the se skirts, which was missing, glad to see it still got the wheels they look great although it looks to have lost the centre caps.
I also got the head gasket, come to think of it it cost me a fortune in the short time I had it.
I sold it to a member here schactt ?? and then it went to e30mclow after that

    Yup.

I basically copied the whole look of the Silver iS on my 325iS - great clean look.

    I'm considering selling the IS.
I have a Porsche 928 which I want to restore, and I'm not keeping 3 cars on the go.

I was hoping to gauge how much interest there is and what price I might get.
If your interested, call/txt me on 0831015816.
As some of you will know, it's a lovely car with some additions added over the years. It needs a few small jobs, but depending on interest, I might get these completed before selling.

Got the car up on stands and started some work today.

It needs a few jobs done, some you will see in the photos, others not so obvious, such as some hoses.

Front of car up on stands ready to start.

A previous owner must have tried to tow or pull the car by hooking up the front support panel. What a mess they made.

You can see how distorted the lower front panel is now.

Yikes, there was a small dent on the valance when I had it, but that was it in terms of damage.

Someone made a right mess of that

By the way, there is a photo of it on my fridge here in the States. I also have the brake ducts for the front valance, as I stuck them in my checked baggage in case I bought an e30 lol. Want them?
I see a dent on the quarter panel too

I do actually need a set of ducts along with the front covers to connect to them and the front panel itself.

Did some more work on the engine this evening and found the hole in the photo below.

So I took the timing cover off and out drops this.

and the inside of the cover looks like this.

It holds the guide in as below, and has obviously been loose for a while.

Someone in the past has used a standard bolt when they should have used a fillister type.

Looks like it's quickly becoming an engine rebuild also.

Funnily enough, the oil level has stayed pretty constant in the 18 months I have had the car.
I have another lower mileage M42, so that may go back in.
