    Default Well Chuffed!!!

A grown man shouldn’t get this excited about an MOT but after 17 years of the car lying about and 2 years of tinkering she’s just gone through the MOT.

Again, quite normal behaviour with an e30. It is good news.

Nice having them back out! Much work to do to get it through?

Aye, I ended up replacing a good bit but nothing major. I took all the guards, exhaust, fuel and brakes lines, rear subframe and waxoiled the lot. Then put all new brakes, handbrake cables, droplinks etc. The best thing I did was the fuel lines. They’re preformed and look well when new.

The aul fella that motd this in Newry thought it was great. He called a few of the lads over to have a look at it. There’s nothing like new shiny copper brake pipes when she’s sitting up on the ramp either.

I have to give a big shout out to Karl the Dub (Spike) for the help on the speedo lens. I had broken mine whilst trying to put it back in after taking the dash out and he had one, free to a good home. I surely owe him a pint or two. A true gentleman and I had a good aul chat with him. He’s got a real good 318iS which I believe is for sale( a real tidy E46 M3 too) . Thanks again Karl!!!
    Cheers,
    Joe
