Some day the BMW world will wake up and people will realize that they missed out on the compact! Own one and you will understand why.

They have an odd shape at the rear though as if someone used an angle grinder and sheared the back off it.

Ever driven one? We've had e46 compact and coupe, the compact out handles the coupe in every way. My wife even noticed the difference and she's usually blind to things like that. And with the hatchback its a far more useable day to day car.

I would have preferred my woman to have a compact as well but she opted for an Audi A3 instead. The compact would have been nicer to drive but the A3 has proven itself to be a very good car albeit it was expensive at the time.
