so lads had the car in mondello on monday and no problems to report tg
the brakes were excellent with no fade at all so im thinking the rx7 conversion can wait for a while. The engine was on good form even managed 3rd gear drifts at 70+ mph seemed like great power there since i put 14s on the back.So next thing i want to ask ye is where can i get a better/upgraded radiator + slim liine fan?

i seen that car in mondello on monday looks verry well on the track.why put 14s on the back?i would try and consintrate more on a decent suspension and tyre set up and see how the car feels after that u might find that u have enough power in a 325i to put in some good times.i have coilovers and medium compond slicks and a rollcage and it totaly changes the drive of an e30.if ur looking for a cheep conversion that can be done in a day i have a 3.0 v6 alfa romeo set up which makes nearly 200bhp and thats plenty trust me.im selling the complete set up if ur interested, comes with 2 engines, gearbox, prop shaft and all wiring adapted to suit an e30.drop in conversion.500 euro?cheep 200bhp

I agree, using 14s is just silly. What you need to do is change you diff ratio to a 4.1,4.27 or 4.45 and use some 15s with R888s all round.

well i wouldnt say its silly im looking for a 4.45 lsd at the moment, putting a smaller diameter wheel on the rear as made a big difference but im only gettin into this so its learn as i go. the car has koni shocks and springs all round would the coilovers be a worth while buy? im not tracking the car to try be faster than every1 else im at it to have fun so dont really want to be spending a fortune for once a month fun. oh and think i would prefer to keep bmw under the bonnet thanks anyway sounds like an interesting conversion.
