I took the dust cover off mine on Friday evening & took it for a lash on the tarmac at the back of the building. I now, have a plan of work together for the Autumn

1) ARB upgrade
2) adjustable rear arms
3) E36 rack
4) disc brake conversion
5) 205/50 tyres

Then the paintwork will get one last compunding. Its all thats left in it before it needs a respray

Jozi, were you having much craic before busted the sump?

Im missing having mine on the road. The sound of the 6cyl getting up in revs really hits the spot.

What struck me though was the amount of body roll and the length of time it takes to turn in. The steering can be hard work too!

Minor criticisms though, all offset by a proper backroad blast with the sunroof open & the engine roaring, that sound is what Ive missed most about having not having E30 running lately

Didn't do much to mine really. Took off a few bits to give it a bit of a clean up.

I had no fun at all when the sump went.

Did an oil change and a few other bits less than 500miles ago and thought maybe I should do the sump while I'm at it. It was getting a little battered looking.

There's a funny bump in the road near my parents house, 2nd gear normally, think 3rd was just to much. Was only a slight crack and drip.

I'll fix the topic title in a min. I'm sure it can be stickied if there's a majority who want it?

Fom Cloud: Proper job going on there!

I've got a lot of work planned for the touring that will be done while the engine swap happens I need convincing on ARB's

dont know if this will coult as work done to the car but i just had to post it somewhere lol

im over the moon, i just figured out how to modify the definition file i was using to view/edit my maps and some other maps in order to properly read some other 325i maps i have that i havent been able to get a peek into yet. im looking at an E30 alpina B3's full throttle ignition map right now. very interesting seeing the shape of the curve compared to anything i have seen up untill now.. will certainly give me more to play with in my own maps.

woohoo!
