I can't be a VAG driver without having a Thule Roof Rack!
I are cool now?

The weather is warming up, so it may soon be time to put the big ole wheels on, and drop her on her fannayyyyy

I feel like some tit driving it at times, it's a bit too "look at meeee".

Yeah, the OEM wheels are nice, but the snow tires are like driving on marshmallows.

The 18s will be going on shortly, then up for sale, and hopefully the VAG boys bite.

Stand proud.
One of the few cars, in my opinion, that yellow looks the part

I'm a fan of the standard alloys also, but your alternative are pretty cool

Met with a pretty famous (in B5 S4 circles) car/owner yesterday to trial fit some prototype carbon parts on my car.

The silver one has well over $100k into it since he bought it new in 2000.

Glad to say mine was every bit as fast as it!

Also dropped it a little more in the front, as the threat of snow is low for the next few weeks.

No real news.

Car is temporarily out of action while I await ignition upgrade parts, in hopes of running a larger spark plug gap.

Also, the pimp wheels haven't sold yet

Found these beauties, that I think I'll pull the trigger on this week, then sell the LHRs for a biblical loss

This car is a tramp lol

It has now been parked up for 4+ weeks!
I've spent a fortune on diagnosis, and it has finally whittled down to petrol.

Thankfully I'm a freak for service history, and keep all fuel receipts.
My fuel gauge was indicating 10-15km when I filled to the brim with Shell V-Power.

10km later, on the busiest road in the world, she shit herself. The fuel stinks. Claim submitted, but I'm not looking for money, I just need to find a way of sucking out 55L of petrol, while 3 floors down in an underground parking lot

Can't trust fuel stations any more than here so then! You'd expect shell to be fairly ok though especially with Vpower.

That other S4 looks pretty boring for a 100k!!!
But then again... it's just a silver Audi on the face of it

After all that ball ache, it was indeed the fuel.

I flushed everything this weekend, and now I'm back to squirming in 3rd-4th

Finally, the type of setup I've been after.
Re-drilling was required, but I'm very happy.

Any updates on this? (sorry for the massive bump)
Unbelievably awesome car!
I will own an Imola B5 S4 at some stage!

Bring it back to IE in a few years so I can have it!

Oh there are updates alright - lessons learned
1 - these cars are 5x more expensive than any other to maintain
2 - they spend more time stopped than going
3 - you need a laptop plugged in 24/7 to keep it alive

Tomorrow I'm putting in a new fx400 8 puck clutch and rear crank seal. This week I've rewired the ignition harness to better suit the upgraded coils and ICM deletes.

After the new clutch beds in, I should be able to get power down again!

Up next is a 4:1 center diff mod, and rear sway with subframe reinforcement. That'll make it more rear biased.
