Default Hello from Australia

Hi all,

It's been a while since I was on here since moving down to Australia. My previous E30 back in Ireland was a 320i Baur which I did a good bit of work to.

I've just picked up a nice 325i 'vert and I have to say i am in love ! the pics below are from the prev owner, I am working on getting her back to standard (so have got rid of the bad boy alloys and smoked indicators).

Will post a few more pics of her when she is fully back to original.

Cheers all, happy new year !
Simon

Happy New Year Simon,

That's a long way from the Shed! Lovely looking car, wear well with it. Keep the pics coming as you get it back to standard.

Do I see a wooden steering wheel too?

Yes, it had a wooden momo steering wheel, matching gearshift and handbrake.... And worst of all, stick on wood effect trim all over the dash.

Wood trim peeled off fairly easily, and I've replaced the momo wheel with an Mtech 1. Needs recovering, so wil post some pics of all that soon.

Cheers guys

So it was a beautiful night in Melbourne, so took the 'vert out to get a few shots. Now with the basketweaves on, and the sill on one side repainted black. Makes a bit of a difference you think ?
