Default No E30 (yet!)

Hey All,

I'll mainly be browsing for a while but I will most likely be an E30 owner by the end of the year. I have 1st refusal on a specific car and as long as it checks out, I'll be excercising my right to acquire it.

Once I have it I will almost certainly be pestering you with requests for expertise. Is that OK with you?

Cheers,

JPW

Cheers for the warm welcomes people. Without giving too much away, I'm currently on my second MX-5 - great little car for cheap track fun, backroad blasts and easy maintenance. This E30 should be a nice upgrade without costing the earth but, being an E30, nice and maintainable .

A 318iS with a few mods would be a nice alternative to the MX-5 as they have similar driving characteristics.

Probably need a few small suspension mods and better steering alright though as the MX-5 could be a hard act to follow in terms of handling.

At least you won't be called a hair-dresser anymore though

I'll still be a hairdresser. Wife won't let me get rid of the MX-5 .

Well, you'll have the best of both worlds then

I wouldn't mind having a nice little MX-5 with coil-overs, some nice wheels......and maybe a Eaton M45 strapped on
